India Gate (9
Kms. / 15 minutes) India Gate is a war memorial arch, built in honour of 90,000
Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. Below it burns a perpetual
flame of Amar Jawan Jyoti, the eternal flame in tribute to all martyred soldiers
in India. Humayun Tomb (11 Km. / 20 minutes) Built in the
16th century, it is the first Mugal Garden Tomb. It is the tomb of the second
emperor of the Mugal dynasty. An excellent example of early Mugal Architecture
which reached maturity in the Taj Mahal at Agra. Jama Masjid
(3 Kms. / 10 minutes) Jama Masjid means Friday mosque. It was built in 1656. Designed
by Ustad Khlil & constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest &
the most splendid mosque in India. Placed on a height the mosque is made of glowing
red sandstone inlaid with marble & brass & has three majestic black &
